Troubles at the Litter Box?

If your cat is urinating or defecating outside the litter box please know that this behavior is not due to spite or anger toward you but because its specific physical, social, or medical needs are not being met.  Give us a call and we will gladly help you pinpoint the problem.

‘Tis the Season for Pet Poisioning

The combination of guests, decorations, and holiday foods make the holidays a prime time for pet poisoning.  Some of the most common culprits are chocolate, macadamia nuts, bread dough, ice melt, and snow globes (they contain ethylene glycol!).  Please keep these (and many other) items safely out of pets’ reach and check out the ASPCA website for more information on pet poisioning.  Stay safe Teton Valley!

Advice for the Eclipse

With the eclipse just a week away, we encourage all our Teton Valley and Jackson clients to undertake extra measures to ensure all pets remain safe. Consider keeping pets at home and inside or in a very secure yard during the coming week.  Also, keep pets on leash at all times if out with them and insure that all identification is up-to-date and secure on animals.

Avoid Slug Bait!

While slugs and snails may be detrimental to your Teton Valley garden, slug bait is even more detrimental to your pet.  Even small amounts can be fatal!  The toxins in slug bait are often mixed with sugar to attract slugs/snails but this also entices pets.  We encourage you to seek out safe, alternative methods of controlling pests.
